Grass Balls. No You Cannot Smoke it Posted: 20 Aug 2008 04:38 AM CDT Grass cutting is a bore, but even the most monotonous chores can be remedied if you make it fun. The Muwi concept is an automated mower barreled shape to compact grass cuttings into balls and disks for, get this. . . to play with. Of course if you’re the type that hates grass stains, these balls and disks are also perfect as compost fertilizer. Designer: Yuli Sung Texts from the designer: 'Muwi' first acknowledges the entire size of the land and automatically cuts the grass. The cut grass, which is created upon cutting the grass, is stored inside. As the cut grass begins to accumulate inside the machine, 'Muwi' constructs and compresses the cut grass into two types of blocks. Then this cut grass is no longer a remainder that needs extra efforts to be thrown out or cleaned up. It rather becomes balls for children to play with or a chair to sit on or any other opportunity. Posted: 20 Aug 2008 04:23 AM CDT I want my tricycle! When I was a kid, I had a big wheels trike made of thick hard plastic. I took that thing everywhere, complete with handle bar tassels thank you very much. Nowadays living with a delicate footprint is important and thats trickled its way down to kid’s toys. Take for example the Bam Bam Baby trike. Designed out of the mindset of clean lights and small environmentally footprints, Bam Bam Baby is an alternative from injection molded plastic tricycles currently in the market. Made entirely of sustainably harvested bamboo, it’s strong, flexible, abrasion resistant, hypoallergenic, and quite aesthetically pleasing if I do say so myself. The main body and wheels are designed to be cut out of a flat sheet. This not only makes it economical but also enables flat packing to reduce any excessive packaging. The wheel tread is made from off the shelf rubber o-rings which can be replaced easily when worn down. The pedals are made of recycled aluminum. Designer: Andrew Grigor Andrew Grigor |

Posted: 19 Aug 2008 10:32 PM CDT Or better yet, I wish I had it. Kurage3 is a fiber optic light that by adjusting its curve, creates a brighter or more dimming illumination. The 3rd light in a series of three, Kurage3's fiber optic cable is 1.5 mm thick compared to its' 1.0mm predecessors which creates a brighter, illuminating effect. I think I am in love.
