Posted: 22 Jun 2009 02:54 AM PDT Yummy Tummy! But that ain't a phone you know; it's a digital menu card. Snooty waiters and stained-dog-eared menu cards in restaurants are two things that I detest and are a big let-down. Although I hear that some places in the Far East do have a digitalized menu card system, I'm sure it's not as sleek as this Aygness here. This one's got features like language options (good for tourists), image representation of dishes, direct order placement to the kitchen, and entertainment tools like news and restaurant trivia. It reminds me of the iPhone, but I'm gonna let that pass. Now only if this means no leaving hefty tips, then it's worth making a future reservation via this digital menu! Designer: Yeli Tong |
The Car That Hangs Outta Your Window Posted: 22 Jun 2009 12:55 AM PDT Picture this: you walk into this hub hanging outta your high-rise apartment and then it gently glides down to the ground level. Touch ground and it transforms into this ultimate car that looks and feels SEXY! This IS the Peugeot Metromorph and it transports you thru the city with ease. I dunno about your hometown, but where I live, I got to pay premium rent for parking my car in my apartment building. This kinda concept looks at eliminating parking woes. Hit the jump to see how this beauty soars. There are some specific features that have been attributed to the Metromorph, to make it a viable concept:

An Ominous Orange Glow Lights London Posted: 22 Jun 2009 12:03 AM PDT What’s that mass of balls there in the corner? Is it a mass alien brain invasion? Oh no… Oh no, that is the Fluoro. A haze of orange / red lighting from the mind of Tom Dixon. The Fluoro comes in two different bubbles: as a pendant or a “floor light.” Check these two iterations out and throw them up all over your room! They can command an entire house, engulfing it in the color of madness and insanity. Surely you too would love to engulf yourself in the haze? Made from polycarbonate with a matt florescent orange coating. With the floor light comes a 250cm clear cable, with the other comes a black ceiling rose and cord to hang from on high. 45 Centimeters diameter for the love of wild environment. Posted: 22 Jun 2009 12:00 AM PDT I'm not here to give you the advantages of Magnet Therapy, but to tell you about the new Magnet Liteon Phone designed by Tryi Yeh. He's decided to use the advantages of Solar panel cells for powering the phone and a spacious OLED screen. Apparently the magnet on the cell phone allows user to change the structure of panel as they want. I particularly fancy the game and media mode, coz that's what I use my mobile phone the most for!
