reNEW Your Charge

Posted: 20 Oct 2009 03:50 AM PDT

I love designs that are misleading. Kinds that look like one thing but actually function as something else. Take the case of this reNEW Solar Battery Charger. It looks like this neat decorative frame that hangs on your window (via the suction cup) or sits pretty on a table. In reality it’s a solar charger for your re-chargeable batteries. Slide the batteries down the back of the frame, into the protective charging pouch, and when it's all juiced up, pluck it out from the bottom.

Kinda like the rolling toaster grill; when the toast's done it glides to the end of the rack; only this charger concept is the vertical, sophisticated version.

Control Your Tea Strength

Posted: 20 Oct 2009 02:10 AM PDT

Ignoring the pun in the name Fall Tea Kettle; let me go straight ahead and tell you what's so cool about this concept. Due to its transparent glass body, you can choose the strength of your brew based on visual judgment. Whilst the water is boiling and the leaves brewing, based on the color of the drink, you can easily slide up the tea strainer from the pot and maintain the strength of your tea. The kettle comes complete with its heating element at the base, and the niche at the bottom keeps the pot grounded safe on it.

ZAZ Up Your Time a Bit

Posted: 20 Oct 2009 12:02 AM PDT

I’m gonna go ahead and start out here by guessing your life could use a bit more ZAZ. Everybody could use a bit more ZAZ in their life, if you think about it. And that’s why Nooka has decided to name their new master-stroke the ZAZ. It’s a watch for 2010, with wacky / amazing features such as this: a completely transparent mineral crystal lens face. What’s that mean? It means you can see right through it. ALSO it means it appears to be displaying time directly on your wrist!

You’re no longer on time, time is on you.

If you’ve seen Nooka watches before you’ll recognize some features and aesthetics the same as before. The four vertical bars, for example. Additional items include a green LED light function, time, date, and a lovely butterfly clasp.

Feature: Chronograph and alarm
Size: 45 x 35 x 8 mm / 22mm wide band
Water resistant to 5ATM

Three models: Silver face with black or white leather bands, or a silver mesh band.

Oh so fashionable, oh so you.

This TV’s a Trifecta

Posted: 20 Oct 2009 12:01 AM PDT

See the time, weather, and cooking channel, or just go all-out Back to the Future style and watch three different television shows at once. Made actually for the extra busy family that needs to see multiple screens at once, the “Active Lifestyle Television” tends to the needs of three screen-needing family members or folds up into one giant screen for that one giant football dad in the group.

Other uses: schedule for the day, main screen, tv guide. Football game, basketball game, hockey game. Baseball game, baseball game, baseball game. Olympic sport 1, Olympic sport 2, Olympic sport 3. Basically this television is for families with planned out schedules they’ve got to see on-screen and the sports fan.

The screen is a flexible LCD and it folds to either three different angled screens or one flat in the middle.
