Typical Girlie Camera

Posted: 25 Aug 2009 02:45 AM PDT

Oh come men, this could be awesome for the little girls in your life; so give it a fair chance and read on! Yea tweens can get intimidated by technology, they do find it cute that Big Daddies like Sony offer them color options like hot pinks and reds, so when a concept like Samsung Blossom DPS Camera comes up, it's like butterfly-times again! Simple to operate and with uncomplicated features, this camera is cute-a-vicious for one feature alone, the power to photoshop the pics via the cam.

Here are the highlights:

  • Full touchscreen navigation with a simple menu and no complex buttons to use.
  • There is a touchup function that allows the user to use software like Adobe Photoshop to tweak pics. That's how the girls get to distort the enemy's face while making themselves look gorgeous!
  • On the side of the camera is a nozzle beneath the cap, when hooked to the comp via USB, this nozzle can be used to touch up photos, fix red eyes, or blur the background like DSLR photos by pressing this nozzle and touching simple applications on the screen.
  • The embossed logo is a comfy grab whilst clicking pics and the popped up shell protects the lens.

A typical girlie look in appropriate colors (Hint: Barbie or Hanna Montana co-branding) along with special photoshop features makes this better deal than picking up those con jobs currently available!

A Bit of a Turtle Shell

Posted: 25 Aug 2009 12:01 AM PDT

That’s all you need for the most naturally ninja-tastic backpack you’re ever gonna own. Straight from Shenkar College of engineering and design in Tel Aviv, Israel, here’s Davidi Galid’s “Meiosis.” Three dimensional polygons galore in a grid system that screams naturalistic and it’s probably really really safe on the inside.

I don’t often do this, but this designer, Davidi Galid, has such a way with words that I’ve just got to quote him word-for-word:

The backpack is the development of a new way of assembly that utilizes the physical attributes of the materials from which it is made. It is constructed of a three-dimensional polygon system, which is the result of released tensions and convergence of the material.

While the backpack parts are in that state, the bag gets its exterior shape, and remains so due to geometric locks as a result of the shrink. The relationship between the parts enables the opening and closing of the backpack, and determines its design and unique shape.

I wish each pack could be form-fitted perfectly to the wearer. I’ve always wanted my own shell. It seemed to me unfair that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had these really useful shells that they could store things in when I was a kid - then I realized that they probably couldn’t do that.

But now you can!

Hangin On An Arrow

Posted: 25 Aug 2009 12:01 AM PDT

I totally agree with Long Tran when he says that we need to creatively organize our mess. There's really nothing artistic about clothes strewn all over your house. So, if you're figuring out a way to manage clothes in a cool stylish way, then the Arrow Hanger is the answer for you. The shaft of the arrow slings out when you want to hang many clothes from hangers, but if it's just a hat or a coat, you can leave the shaft up. Besides the functional aspect, me thinks it's smart enough to be up on any wall!

Open Arrow and extract 95 mm of precision-milled powder coated aluminum. In a precise horizontal position the soft edged hanger supports hefty loads, but is just as useful for a newly ironed shirt and a pair of trousers. If you close it there are still three hooks on which to hang various items. When not in use, Arrow will adorn the wall like an iconic graphic symbol. Or you can put several together to create various patterns, just waiting to be folded out and used.

Biggest Hugest Tricycle

Posted: 25 Aug 2009 12:01 AM PDT

The biggest hugest tricycle in the whole world has been conceptualized by designer Randall Marin. It is a bit different from what you might think of as a tricycle; that being either the tiny red tricycle for children or the giant tri-motorcycle you see in parades most often. This is made for urban transport and exercise - with it’s main aim being gaining attention, motivating others to get exercise too.

Dimensions:
1800 x 1500 x 1100 mm.

Maximum capacity:
180 Kg.
Was simulated on SAP program.

Marin aims for this project to be “low material vs. high volume” and all of the pieces are recyclable. The “Triclo” is offered in a variety of lovely colors (as you can see below) and is aimed at all those who wish to stand out while getting lots of exercise.
