Egg Shower

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 03:08 AM PST

The proteins in an egg can do wonders for your skin, but how about taking a shower in one? I'm talking about the egg-shaped shaped Cocoon Shower Stall that literally cocoons you once you shut all the glass slides. The usual spa features seen in such kinda stalls are included, but to spell them out: shower, bathtub, hydro massage (Jacuzzi) & mood lighting are there. The rain-showerhead is plum in the center of the ceiling, but I'd much rather use this for the hydra therapies!

Button Up A Watch This Winter

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 01:05 AM PST

Its winter and just when your hands get warm and cozy in your gloves; you get this itch to see the time. In a normal situation you would just ask someone else for the time and ignore the watch on your wrist (under the gloves). But I'm not here to relate a normal situation! Allow me to introduce you to the idea of a Button watch. A teeny-tiny clip-on that clips to your jacket or bag and tells you the time on a need-to-know-basis.
Click the face once and it displays the time and date on the glass face for a few seconds.

  • Solar battery panels harness electricity for the display. (Sunny days in winter are few and far between, but in summers you could wear this for the fad-quotient).
  • Many of us depend upon our phones to note the time, and since touchscreen phones act weird with gloved fingers, this button watch would be a cute solution.

What’s Up On The Ceiling?

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 01:00 AM PST

A Fan! On one hand we have futuristic Dyson-esque Bladeless Fans seeking our attention and on the other we have a retro beauty vying for love. The Loft Wing kinda reminds me of the traditional fans or Punkahs that were attached to strings and pulled by diligent Punkahwalas in ancient Indian kingdoms. This one of course is modern enough to include a motor that performs the swinging motion.

The Loft Wing:

  • The Loft Wing is a dramatic new ceiling fan destined to become a classic of innovative green design whose gentle sweeping motion imbues any large room with a relaxing atmosphere while sipping only 15watts of electricity – creating a light and natural breeze.
  • It is ideal for lofts, large residential rooms, lobbies, restaurants and public & private buildings where unused airspace will be instantly transformed into a dynamic attraction by its artful, sophisticated look and easy motion.
  • The 9'-6 x 4'-6" fabric wing can be ordered in a variety of colors
  • High strength carbon fiber tapered rods maintain the wing's shape and fluid motion.
  • A high quality German geared motor powers the Loft Fan's mechanism smoothly and quietly.
  • High performance ball bearings for trouble free operation.
  • Precision engineered and machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum.
  • Custom ceiling mounts available for nearly every ceiling configuration.
  • Custom colors applied to the mechanism are also available.
  • Twenty signature editions signed by the designer are available at no extra cost.
  • Base price: $9,745

Vertical Grow Pro

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:10 AM PST

Use your worm power! For all of you who’ve got a hankering for a few leaves and sprouts, here’s a vertical home garden for your personal use. Below you’ll find six steps to your home greenery edification. It employs drip watering, wormie friends, and a whole bunch of sustainable living. The name’s “Urb Garden” and I’d like to say, it’s time for some plants and it’s super easayyy.

First, you’ve gotta put a bunch of food scraps (like banana peels, old bread, apple cores, and hard chunks of milk) into the worm farm.

Then, the worm friends produce liquid fertalizer, to which a bit of extra water is added for easier flowing.

The liquid is pumped up to the holding tank, and drips down through the growing pods where the plants are growing. -The unused liquid then drains back into the tank to be recycled through the system again.

Bigtime fun for everyone! This system is too easy to use!

Toilet Scribbles

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:07 AM PST

Where do your best ideas come to you? In the toilet. That’s where everybody’s best ideas arrive, whether they know it or not. So get ready! Get this invention right here! All it is really is a bit of stainless steel tubing 2mm thick, plus a flat. Just stick your roll on there, tear off some sheets, and get to writing! But wait, with what? That’s where you’ve got to add something usually not sitting by the pot: pencils. Pens, markers, even crayons if you like.

I’m sure you can see the shape the back makes, the place where the roll goes, and the hole where the writing sticks go, but what about the ideas! That’s another thing you’ve got to add.

What a deal!

One Light to Rule Them All

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:02 AM PST

One billion events, millions of lighting experts. That’s what happens. When you’ve got an event that needs lighting, you see a specialist. Freelance workers who get all up in the party lighting it with the equipment they’re known for, each group being hired for their materials. Well I say to you, no more! One light to rule them all! This here is the Helios 700W! And basically anyone can use it.

This light is made for events, but it’s not too much of a stretch to think you could use it for other things, like radical two-person disco parties, or that kittie-rave you’ve always had planned.

It’s a moving head light sliced down to the minimum weight, size, and price. It’s got a unique cooling system that makes it rather silent. It employs a wireless DMX data transfer system so there’s no six-tons of wires. Information transfer system based on military radio communication. Constructed mainly of a light aluminum-space-frame making it handle-able and rugged.
