Posted: 29 Sep 2009 04:17 AM PDT Ora is a handsome watch that takes a break from the digital and analog era. It comes with an in-your-face style and colors that are energetic. Vibrant as its looks is the system to tell time; three interwoven tapes, yes the measuring kind, move across the face to indicate the hour, minute and day. Fashionable or not, it certainly scores well in the product-design segment. Designer: Alexandros Stasinopoulos |
Feather or Leaf, I Love This Chair Posted: 29 Sep 2009 04:10 AM PDT On first glimpse I had the Ivy Chair confused as one draped in a spray of feathers, but a closer look revealed it was swathed in enigmatic white leaves. Sign of purity? Poetic? Nay I think eccentric and exotic. Almost like bringing home a shower of your raked treasure from the garden and trying out a DIY project. Whatever! From contemporary interiors point of view, the Ivy Chair in white (and maybe in black for Takashi) will be perfect! Designer: Satoshi Itasaka |
Posted: 29 Sep 2009 12:02 AM PDT What kind of friend do you want, waiters? Waiters, what would make your life easier? Would it be… shoes that’ll be kinder to your feet? Naw. How about a hat that has a little mechanical hand which wipes your brow of sweat? Sure? Naw, no. Oh I know! The “Waiter’s Friend!” It’s the swiss army knife of the waiter world! So you’ve got one of those knives that has a billion accessories, and you have everything you need but then 30 things too many. You’ve got the kind of knife that’s only got the sharp part, but no extras. What’s to do! Simply put: the Waiter’s Friend. Made for Jme, the Waiter’s Friend includes a foil cutter, a bottle opener, and a corkscrew. After that what’ll you need? A free drink after your shift. Something like… root beer. Posted: 29 Sep 2009 12:00 AM PDT Huddle around coffee drinkers coz I bring to you this unique esPRESSivo Portable Espresso Coffee Maker. The trouble with brewing espresso outdoors is the dynamics of pressing coffee beans and of course the relevant equipments, so thermosflasks is the way to go. Until this brainwave of hand-pressing the beans using the esPRESSivo machine comes to life! The all-in-one-unit allows you to press the beans, light up a small flame at the base of the unit to brew your cuppa, and stores the surplus! Brilliant! Designer: Shao-Lun Chao |
